Leonard Nimory of the Original STAR TREK turned 80 years old on 3.26.2011.... I thought it was only fitting to make a LIVE LONG AND PROSPER upload to honor the actor.... Spock was a strange character - he wasn't ever supose to smile or lie, but when he did, people loved it... the odd thing for me is, Spock was a cold character, but there is not one person I've come across in life that didn't like him - Great Character, great actor.... I met Nimoy when I was in grade school, with in a year after Star Trek was cancelled, he had thousands of people wanting his autograph he scribbled his name so fast and all you saw him do was signing for about a half hour as fast as he could and wiping the sweat from his forehead - lol - so yeah, I've seen Spock sweat in real life - lol

Fantastic looking image! Really does look like Spock (always a personal favorite character, next to Scotty and Bones, of course). And a wonderful way to commemorate a true milestone for a truly versatile actor. Live long, and prosper indeed.

Yay for Spock! I have heard from many fans who have met him that Mr. Nimoy is quite a nice guy. And now for something completely different--have you ever seen the variation on the game of "Rock, Paper, Scissors" that adds "Spock and Lizard"? Spock smashes scissors and vaporizes rock; he is poisoned by lizard and disproved by paper. Lizard poisons Spock and eats paper; it is crushed by rock and decapitated by scissors.

OMG! Mike this absolutely kicks all kinds of butt! I love this wonderful tribute to Mr. Nimoy! Instant fave on this one! I've got that Werts Spock morph - maybe I'll get around to using it someday if things ever calm down here.... Oh, dear...... Busted 4 Hot Rod...... I can't wait to see this.....I think.. LOL! Oddly enough, there's a girl at work that calls me Hot Rod. And of course I get a serious ribbing from the guys I work with. It's not easy being me.... Muahahahahaha.... Ahem...

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW Mike! This is both AWESOME and ... "fascinating". Though the iadea of the Enterprise fitting inot Spock's hand is not logical, lol! I have been a die hard Trekker all my life so you KNOW I LOVE this one! As you mentioned in your commentary Spock is a bit of a paradox but one of my all time favorite Trek characters - perhaps my absolute favorite. The composition of this is incredible Mike! This would make a COOL poster! I like that whirlpool-like design too. Superb image my friend!!

Mike, you did such an outstanding job on this dedi to Leonard Nimoy. Star Trek ist still one of my all time fav shows and Spock a true classic character. Really cool that you had the chance to meet him in person, but you never mentioned if you still had that autograph ;)

I have my first album still, the rolling stones octogon shaped album... I still have some things from the 60s... but, I don't think I have Leonard Nimoy's autograph anymore, I also had Peter lupis from Mission Impossible, and the blonde guy from the Rookies.... I seen these actors at a car show - first time I had seen the Batmobile - that was the whole reason I went - I love that car.

Oh wow! I'm a huge Star Trek fan and this is awesome, Mike! I'm sure Mr. Nimoy would like it. I always loved him and even loved hearing him narrate documentaries about science/history. You did wonderful with the poster style here!
