Description

Please do not adjust your set! These photographs really ARE crappy, and no amount of fiddling on your part is going to help. It's one of those content over quality things! You can probably tell I was shooting through the window screen. This is Bill (on the left) with our next-door-neighbor, Steve. They had just finished cutting a padlock off the shed in our back yard, and I happened to see them out the downstairs window and couldn't resist a few shots of them in their matching jeans and hoodies. (Which of course they hadn't noticed.) I'm not sure why they decided they needed to cut that padlock off while it was raining, but they obviously had a great time! My apologies to Andrea for not getting a good shot of the padlock. I have no idea what happened to it. .......... For those of you keeping track, we DID get a car we can tow behind the motorhome! Yay! We've got an appointment with the RV people on Thursday to do the hitch installation. Slowly but surely this is coming together, and it looks like we'll be on the road this time next week!

Great fun shots Tara. I think you ought to take a pic of the padlock or parcel it up and send to Andrea.

I just toddled next door and asked if Stevie could come out to play...lol! And isn't it more fun to be out in the rain then inside where it is dry? Good neighbors do make life so much easier. Neat candids my dear:)

If they waited until it stopped raining they might not have gotten this mission accomplished until mid-July. I'm looking forward to pictures of your travels. It sounds like a lot of fun.

Of course they had to cut the lock while it was raining - else it wouldn't have been an adventure! Great candid of the boyz! Thrilled about the car! Keep me posted! :) Miss you Hun!!

From what I've heard, the only thing that makes good neighbors are high fences and/or walls. Interesting collage shot through a window screen grid that must have been a bit over ground level.

I'm trying to remember which direction this might be; clearly it's not across the creek (that I'm going to come and shoot one of these days!!!) I can't remember where that shed is on your property, and it's bugging me. Oh well, they do look like brothers in their matching duds and job-accomplished smiles. Better have a look around for that padlock, Andrea won't rest until it's added to her collection!

It's a guy thing. I think it's hormonal. Too much testosterone or something. Everything is so much more fun in extreme weather. Be it monsoon, be it 100 degrees, be there 20 feet of snow on the ground, A MAN WILL BE THERE!! Why? Because it's FUN, that's why. And the plan must be extremely complicated, and there must be tactical decisions, and it's usually good if something blows up or is otherwise destroyed... I LOVE this shot, er, all of them. I particularly the low angle (you know me and low angles) through the screen ones. Totally rockin' work here.
