This is just an average scene near where I stayed, during my father's illness. Not a great shot, but a real one, and I share it because it's what I saw everyday when my father was ill. I shut off comments and am truly not looking for fav's, because this is for you, not for me. It's my fav, for all of you, because I got so many loving & supportive comments from all of you, sitemails & letters, and beautiful images...and I've not answered or thanked any of you individually. I will, I truly will: I just haven't been able to yet. But your kindness touched me deeply. My father's loss was huge for me; and it came after several other losses the last 2 years, and I didn't realize how much they hit me until this month. There's still much work to do for my father, but I truly am going to need a rest. So accept this as my dearest thanks for all you gave, until I can thank each of you individually. And as for this scene: It's 2 minutes from where my father spent his last days; and each day I walked out there, I thought: "Father, this peace is for you..." Now it's for all of you...
