Description

Bryce7Pro/DazStudio/Photoshop Every SciFi fanatic can trace his or her beginnings back to some favourite books or shows they were exposed to as kids.For me,growing up in England,it was The Thunderbirds,Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons,Joe 90,The Six Million Dollar Man and Buck Rogers In The 25th Century.This image was my attempt to collect some of the items of childhood and display them as if found after all those years.Various Daz3D items were used,along with some of my own models and images.One spot with soft edges and shadows provides the only light in the scene.The base and two walls(barely visible)of my set were created from cubes and textured in a Seriously Real Material.Clockwise from top... Decorative Box,scifi container(Daz),Skylon3 vehicle(Sparkyworld),robot(my own bryce model),David base and Andromeda6 suit(Daz-my own textures),Little book(Daz-with my own cover for The Pandoran War by Dante D'Anthony),Classic Raygun(Daz),my own Bryce racer,V3 Aviatrix goggles(Daz),Sky Manta(Daz...in centre of image),two of my own images applied to 2D panels. Rendered in Premium with soft shadows,postwork involved a slight levels boost,resizing and signature.Thanks for viewing this trip down memory lane,and thanks for your comments!

Here in the States just a couple of what you mentioned I enjoyed as well....Six Million Dollar Man/Buck Rogers and of course...The Thunderbirds!!...It's cool how you were able to recreate these items through modeling...Awesome!... Time Well Spent!....(smiles)....

Great idea. For me it was Flash Gorden and Buck Rogers at the local picture house ever Saturday afternoon. It really helped to be friends with the managers son because we got in for free - ah those were the days.
