Description

I, reluctantly, attended a medeval fair in Norman Oklahoma with my sister last Friday and was pleasantly suprised to find that a raptor rehabilitation group called "Royal Gauntlet Birds of Prey" were there with some of their birds! They were very gracious and accomodating to allow up close and personal viewing of the beautiful birds and I certainly hope to be able to see more of them and learn more of the group! Ooh, what a wonderful photo, very striking shot! I've always enjoyed going to medieval festivals and renaissance faires, but then I'm a history nerd who loves making costumes... I'm so impressed with this photo, the look in that bird's eyes is amazing!
