Or, perhaps, in this instance, I should say, drummers and minidrummers.
Captured 5/29/10, at the beautiful Orange County Fair & Event Center in beautiful, but financially troubled, Costa Mesa, California.
To be more precise, it was the United Scottish Society's Highland Games & Gathering's Scottish Festival of Celtic Entertainment & Food.

These laddies and lassies tried ignoring me at first, but after some gentle urging, they finally agreed to pose for me in the last photo.
And, because it was really bright out there, I tried postwork reducing the stark dark and light contrast in these fotos, but sans the new computer glasses I will be getting after my next eye examination, which will be coming up shortly. Hence, it's touch and go for me with digifiddling at this juncture.

You did well with reducing that bright sunshine, Harry; I hate full sun for photographs myself, I can't see well enough to be sure I'm focused or not. For me it's better to wait until later in the day (I only do early under duress!) Excellent shots, and they look quite smart in the proper headgear!
