------------- The Nine – Hellfire

They’d all come from different places but arrived at the same place. And once their numbers were complete, Princess Aura gave to them their true powers. For as she was born to fire and brimstone, so too did her Nine need its taste to remind them of who ruled. It was not Asmodeus or Baalzebul or Mammon. It would be she and only she as Queen of Hell. To each, she gave Hellfire. And as it burned through them and scorched their souls, so did their souls become immortal, indestructible, eternal. In turn, as each emerged from their tortured deaths into a new life, they were reborn as creatures of fire and brimstone just as their mistress, their captain, their Queen. Now, they can use their Hellfire to their own ends, but first in her service.
