A week ago, last Saturday, I was on my way to Treasure House. I was riding my bike as usual. I had just turned a corner and started down the road, where I saw a young girl with a medium-sized dog to my right, on the sidewalk. I had just gotten parallel to them when the dog broke free from the girl. I realized that my motion on the bike was the cause and I wasn't going fast enough to outrun the dog. I stopped to present myself as a non-threat, but the dog still attacked and bit my right leg. this picture was taken the day after the attack. This was the second time that the dog attacked a bike rider wihtout provocation. the owner was told after the first attack that the dog needed to stay in a high-fenced area; if it was to be in the front, it had to wear a muzzle and be secured so it wouldn't get past the property line. the owner had told the officials that the dog was going up to another city (this was a while back) but aggreed to the conditions. As far as I know, the dog was put down yesterday. I know some of you were curious as to what had happened so I thought I'd show you.
