Description

This was drawn years and years ago, perhaps in another lifetime. It's been hanging on my wall, subject to dust, smoke, and time. It has yellowed and browned with time. I like how it has aged. It is based on a small picture of Brian Eno in Spin magazine. I decided to remove the hair. He is intentionally left slightly off-center. It was originally drawn with a #2 pencil on white paper then lightly dusted with brown pigment pastel. It was mounted on a piece of tan mat board. This image was scanned. The mat board wouldn't fit on the bed of my scanner so I created a background in Photoshop similar to what the mat board looks like. The drawing itself remains untouched though.
