Description
When the towers fell on September 11, 2001, St. Paul's was miraculously saved. It seemed to be protected by God. Some trees and gravestones were the only damage; surprising considering St. Paul's is directly across the street.
Today it has become a memorial to many who died there and to the outpouring of sympathy from around the world. If you walk through the graveyard, face to where the towers stand, and crouch a little, you will see this gravestone.
Same day - separated by 205 years.

Amazing Picture.

Well, if "God" appreciates architectural achievements more than all the millions of children who die horribly in dirty wars, then that god is great indeed? I think not. It seems the most miraculous thing in the world is human ignorance. People just want to be chained, never wanting to carry their own responsibility. They want the protective hand, because they feel too weak. Instead of learning to fish, they want someone else to fish and carry that fish to them on a silver platter. They want someone to worship and someone to blame, whichever opportunistically suits their needs. But, I'm not a preacher, just have to say something once in a while. Have a good and nice day everyone!

I agree totally with dcclxxvii. If there was a god who was protecting this church, then surely he could have stopped the event in the first place. Interesting photo though. If the human race suddenly became immortal, would anyone still give too hoots about their god?
