Description

I took this photo a few weeks ago at my Mom's house. This Iris was as big as my outstretched hand. I have never seen iris's so large. It's a cool and cloudy weekend here in Southern California, with some rain showers now and then. I am trying to stay indoors as much as I can because of the "safe" (b.s.) levels of iodine 131 and cesium 137 falling with the rain..... I will say no more. My previous upload "I love this view". Last week most of the snow you see here melted, but then it snowed again yesterday and left the mountains white again. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Have a great weekend. Pasta and wine? Works for me. Super duper closeup of the gorgeous iris with all those neat textures, which sure looks a heck of a lot like an orchid, Melinda. And, did anyone dare you to run naked outside in the rain?
