My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

This reminds me of something by that Catalan painter/sculptor Miro, that was everywhere in the 1960's. You can almost smell and taste the sawdust here. Great pic.

How wonderful abstract and colors

Very pretty shot, it's so nice when people take just a little extra time to make something mundane into something magnificent, isn't it? I like your POV for this, the angles and textures are so rich and warm!
goodoleboy
Stellar geometric angles, objects and ruddy textures in this pic. I'd heard of North by Northwest, and Northwest passage, but never a Northwest abstract.

This is a very interesting looking laundry door, I wonder what the entry door is like? A great looking abstract you have captured here.

My first thought was 'Lincoln Logs'. Easy on the eyes. Lovely wood grain.

Wonderful, warm texture you've captured, Tara! On a laundry room door, no less! What an eye! I just know some really kick-butt photos are going to come out of your explorations - can't wait to see more!
