Description

We found this record in a 5 meter wide, 2 meter high stack of boxes FULL of records. I absolutely HAD to shoot it! Plus, the color matched this really cool pink box we found to shoot in. Poor guy! First photoshoot, first set and we already have him naked! LOL! (He wasn't really naked, but shhhhh, don't tell anyone!) PS: The background is real. No Photoshop there. As is the flare coming through his hand. WOW! I love these kinds of shots, especially knowing that the "nude" model isn't nude at all. It reminds me of a line I heard in a Monty Python sketch: "Is that a chicken up there? Oh...no...it's just the way she's holding the grapefruit." I thought of that when I saw this, despite the absence of a grapefruit or anything even remotely resembling a chicken. Having said that, I like this shot a lot, especially in the pale/white picked up in the pink room and on the model's chest. It adds a slightly ethereal quality that works well. Your work is consistently excellent, and this is just one example of that.
