That is NOT me in the picture!
Thanks for visiting my gallery! If you were redirected here from Culture Crunch, you will find the "alternate versions" of Didi and Kelly here, as well as a few prototypes, if you look hard enough.
Once upon a time, I thought to myself, "Wouldn't it be cool to make pictures of people on the computer?" Of course, at the time, I was thinking more along the lines of Max Headroom, but when Poser came out, I knew I had to have it. Yes, folks, I am one of the lucky few who has been using Poser since version 1!
Most people would agree that Poser 4 was the turning point, where it went from being a reference tool to a way to make real pictures (I won't say "real art") in its own right. Then came along someone named Victoria... And the rest is history!
Recently I've been getting into DAZ Studio quite a bit. I'm also trying to wrap my mind around LuxRender.

For inking you might try using the pencil scan and adjusting the contrast to get most of the "inking" done.

Love how you showed your technique and sketch work, I can't draw a circle so you are way above me I wish I had this talent, and I have tried but its just not there. Nice work and I like the green :)

Whichever way you've chosen, it's worked, hasn't it!

An either case, still an excellent display! Nice seeing the process of Chilli - remember that comic? Chilli & Milly? That's what she reminds me of...

Hmmm... that's how I started, with tracing paper to get the contours. Once the contours were on the drawing paper, I did the filling in with different pencils (different hardnesses, different shapes of the lead). However, one drawing could take a whole day, which is why I quit - no time and much work with it. I never tried the cartoon look, always striving for a real look. "Gack! Choke... cough!(spits it out)Unedible! Unlickable! All paper! Cough!" - T.Rex.

Nice technique if you ask me. Though I though Poser could actually create toon outlines in a rendering. Still very nice job.
