Description

In China, precious little goes to waste. In a land where Chickens feet are considered a delicacy, and the head from a carp is used to make a succulent soup where a family sucks the skull for the meat, yes even the trees are planted with the idea in mind that the entire thing, roots and all must be harvested and used. In China, trees older than the US Constitution; the document, not the ship; are harvested after they die. The Chinese do not leave the stump to go to waste, they harvest it. In a subsequent series, I hope to explain how this process comes about, but, you must believe me, it takes the lifetimes of many generations of Chinese people to grow such artwork. These people have found the way to cage the roots of trees. This system goes back further than the birth of Rome. I hope you enjoy this artwork as much as I enjoy my adventure in China. My life has been a Safari, and if China is the last Safari of Cryptojoe, then at least, I am published. I love you all and miss you so very much.

Old trees. Where I live on to of a mountain in the high desert, are Creosote bushes that can date back to the time of Christ. I have one next to my house almost as large as my house. Their roots can stretch 5 miles in search of water & can burn for days, weeks due to the oil. Pretty cool, huh? Beautiful dragons! ")
