Description

Cruising in Cave Creek on a Saturday afternoon. 23 T bucket with a 350 blown Chevy engine and ~ 450 hp. Four exhaust pipes on each side, 18 inch rear wheels and weighing about 1200 lbs. It is really tough to keep those 450 horses under control. Cruising at about 1000 rpm. Temperature was 95F. This was a first for Cave Creek, located in the far northern part of the Valley of the Sun. Steve, the driver and owner, uses it as a daily driver. When he first built it he took it to the dragstrip - turned 132mph in the 1/4 mile but he swears he will never do it again. It is too dangerous and unpredictable when punched. One never knows which way it will go. He has no seat belts in it, no roll cage, and no wipers and he uses ear plugs when driving it.
