Description

An architectural detail from a shopping center in Tlaquepaque, just outside Sedona, Arizona. Our internet connection is fairly reliable here, but it's very slow, and I'm not sure how often we'll have the patience to post an image, if this works at all! Commenting is an exercise in futility. I'm trying to at least SEE what you're posting, but it might be a while before I can actually participate the way I like. There are times when I click an image to open it, and it takes three to five minutes to OPEN, let alone post a comment back. Maybe a couple weeks of this ... we'll see how it goes! Right now we're visiting good friends in Arizona and having a fabulous time. Crappy internet is a small price to pay! We're taking loads of photographs every day, so even if we disappear for a while, we'll be back with loads to share later on! Miss you all, but snapping pics like a crazy woman. Loving every minute! :D

Oh, this is GORGEOUS, Tara! Wow! I can see all kinds of background ideas for this! Sounds like you two are living the dream! Can't wait to see more photos from your trip once you find a non-crappy internet connection! LOL! Beautiful photo!

Looks very homey. Sounds like you and Bill are having the time of your lives. As the Aussies say, 'good on ya'. There is a town by that name in Jalisco, Mexico. I looked it up. The name Tlaquepaque comes from the Nahuatl language and means "place above clay land".

This is a beautiful place; I saw it years ago when I visited Sedona. The whole area is pretty spectacular.

Nicely captured Tara, that corkscrew shape goes really well with the square and round column.

Hmmm, sounds like your connection is what we had to endure in SA until about two years ago. I got used to it, but would hate to go back there...! Gorgeous lighting and composition (of course - this is Tara driving the camera...)

I wish we would have architectural designed Shopping Centres like this, in our part of the world, this is so much more interesting than the usual grey/gray (?) concrete constructions, wishing you both a safe trip, BB

Wow! You've got so many wonderful pix in your gallery, and I can't seem to keep up with commenting on all of them. I know all about terrible internet service! I was finally able to dump my old IP and go with someone better. My old service was so slow it took HOURS to make comments, and posting pictures was a royal pain in the whoo-ha. Maybe now I can finally keep up with everything. Anyway, this is a lovely shot (one of many), and I'm glad you guys are having fun on your trip!
