Description

Got a ride in my friend's 1948 Stinson Station Wagon yesterday! (It's a plane, not a car. Google it to see a picture if you're "one of those.") We flew all around Sedona and Jerome, along the Verde River, and up and over the Red Rocks. Such fun! Our internet connection is still a hit-and-miss affair. Yesterday we couldn't get on at all. This morning we're taking advantage of a bit of slow (but better than nothing) connectivity. I wish I could see your artwork, but that will have to wait for better days, technologically speaking. Having a ball, though, and going out every day in order to take interesting pictures for your amusement. I think today we're having lunch in Jerome. I'll take my camera ... :P

Just look at that nature! If I didn't know better, I'd swear it looks like a scene from Zabriskie Point!!! ;)

That's a fantastic shot, Tara! Wow - what a way to see the landscape! Love those old Stinsons - just something very classic about those planes!

So you photograph it from the air and Bill snaps it on the ground eh? Covering this territory in a Stinson would really make my day! Glad you enjoyed it.

Fabulous shot. One of the reasons I got into Bryce and Vue is the ability to go flying over exotic landscapes without leaving my desk... Not as good as the real thing, but an excellent substitute (and I get to see landscapes nobody has ever seen before :o)

Quite a contrast to the scenery Bill got flying in the other direction, certainly a picturesque area to live, especially if you own a plane..I look forward to more....

Gorgeous shot. I'm guessing it's a -3 Station Wagon. My flight instructor back in the mid seventies had a -2 but not with the Station Wagon option. Fantastic planes.
