Description
The last two days I've seen this figure that I just had to have. Nursoda makes it. It's called Hartmut, it's an add on (didn't know) to Hein (so I had to get that too).
anyway, at first glance, I thought of JOHN DENVER, A favorite Musician of mine and probably ANYONE who's heard his music... some funny things are, Colorado just yesterday Inducted him into the Colorado MUSIC HALL OF FAME - it's shocking, cause I didn't know there was one and two, if it was around when he was alive, he should of been the first one in.... The other thing about this character is he looks real close to a comic character I use to draw over 20 years ago called DUDE. Dude & Brawler were the Stars of my strip called VOLLEY BRAWL. I did get paid for it and it ran in a newspaper for about a year until I got fed up with trying to get my money - which wasn't much.
I've been looking for a character built like this and I hope I can make it look like my old strip, cause I would like to get back into that too.

Ah.... The good ol' days! Love that song - and most of John Denver's music as well... Too bad he left us so soon - but I guess he went out doing something he loved.. I've often wondered what it would be like having a strip in a paper - having to fight to get paid would be kind of a downer, though. Congrats on the charts, my friend! :-D

Oh this is wonderful, I love his music, it was so sad when he died. I remember seeing the movie that was made about him later. Nice work it makes me want to drag out my old John Denver album, if only I still had a record player to play it on... :) need to get one of his cd's I guess.
