FE Generalised Mandel.
This reminded me of the trudging march of the penguins. A little fun one.
The flower buds on my Wisteria are getting larger by the day so I hope to post a photo of it shortly. We planted it four years ago to grow along the pergola and I haven't had the courage to prune it yet. I really must find out what to do as it is swamping the summer house. I am open to advice:-)

wonderful image. I would suggest that you go online and see what you can find there and if anything else, go to an Arboritum and ask the grounds-keeper what to do.

This is a wildly different fractal. Cool migration...does look a flock trudging along. ...but maybe cormorants, not penguins. And as for the wisteria, my only advice is to be wary. Wisteria will creep it's tiny tendtrils into the framework of a building, and then, inexorably keep growing until the vine pries the boards apart. It actually pried the roof off a neighbor's trailer home.

Very cool image Jen. They really do look like they are trudging along somewhere. I'm not a gardner so can't help with your question, but I was amazed to read what Neoexcello said.

Yes, such nice and cute animals on track! A very beautiful fractal, dear Jenny. Our Wisteria is full in bloom. You have to cut it rather short. Always cut out the long ends, the whole year through. (like a vine) But watch out, your clothes will become orange spots after washing, that part which has come into contact with the sap of the bush.

Does look like a migration of walking birds. Wirh the color and sandy appearence it looks like Chaparal (Roadrunners) having a Race. Usually you only see them solo zooming around the Desert but every 4 years they get together to see whose fastest, the Golympics, LoL Peace

Geogeous and so well spotted. I know that Wisteria doesn't seem to mind pruning but not sure when you do it.

Yay! Jen. Definitely penguins, although they do remind me of the very strange pelican that seemed to take a likeing to me at the Melbourne Zoo last time I was there. It followed me around all day, rubbing its beak agaist me. Not sure what it meant!!! But it certainly was determined! Even after I shouted it lunch, it stuck around! Beautiful bird. Glad to hear your garden is on the move. Wistaria is sooo beautiful. Yours must be reachiong a good size by now. Are your small bulbs up yet? Love to Merlin. I've been a bit under the weather for a few weeks, which is why I haven't been in touch. It's easing off a bit now. Drs say I'm likely to get more pleurisy. The immune system is basically stuffed and my body is reacting all over the place. Grrr!
