Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

WOW! You DO get around and it's funny how close you were to my friend Sean (he stayed in Prague nearly as long as I did.) Anyway, this is a rockin' shot and I love the vibrant color and life in it, yeah...okay, it was cold, but still, you nabbed a fantastic series of shots here.

Cool. I've never been to a baseball game, but was just watching a documentary on the past player Lou Gehrig. Our big sport here is Australian Rules Football, and some of the night games are just FREEZING! It's funny how you put some thought into what you going to wear to the game, but when you get there.....you would gladly stick yourself in a rubbish bag if it held the heat! I now take my serious bush walking gear when I go.

Don't feel guilty, Marilyn. I'd rather travel than comment. At least when I get back I have something to say. A great series of shots but 44 degrees? Hasn't anyone told them it's almost May?

Wonderful that you got to see a live game...I'm still trying to believe that they keep preaching global warming when it's the total opposite IMO....More like global cooling...lol...I surely bet that coffee line was long....(smiles)..
