Description

Whenever I get suggestions, I try to take them to heart. The wizened old wizard is just too cliche. So, I kept him young and changed the color of his hair. I, then, tried to smudge it in PhotoImpact. Now you know why I don't do post work on my renders. Egads! I, also, made the dragons wings somewhat translucent. This was due to a comment on Nathalie's beautiful render (http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=219035&Start=1&Sectionid=0&Form.Search=islandgraphics) So, here is the final version. Models - Michael and Dragon by DAZ 3D Character - Victor by Catharina Przezak (DAZ 3D) Hair - Fantasy Beard by Anton Keisel (DAZ 3D) Dragon Texture by Pokeydots (RFS) Dragon Wing Trans Map by Lyrra from her 17 Dragonskins (RFS) Robe - Robe for Mike by shadowcat (RFS) Robe Texture - Cloth3 by Tuesday (http://members.fortunecity.com/texturesbytuesday2/) Backdrop - CycloDrop by RDNA Lighting - Pro-Luma Professional Light Presets by Blackhearted Dragon's Breath - FX Pack 2 by davidm (RMP) Michael's Eyes - Awful Eyes by As Shanim (RMP) Postwork (aarrrggghhh) in PhotoImpact

Paul, Nathalie's right. Post work isn't everything and you've done extremely well considering that you never do it in the first place. This is incredibly original and I commend your choice of subject matter and your excellent execution. Great job!

I like the way it turned out....and wizards had to be young once, too. I like the improvements a lot.

try copying bits of the beard texture to the chin area & use a bread morph to blur the chin line. & darken the eyebrow & lashes a shade or two (most blondes have facial hair darker than head hair, probably due to sun bleaching the head hair) love the dragonfire.
