BIOI was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, August 29, 1953. I now reside in Stafford, Virginia. In college, I had a double major of English Lit and Philosophy, so became a computer programmer. I programmed for close to 20 years before I got sick of reading records and writing records and became a LAN Administrator. I love reading, movies, chess, art, sports, and physics (quantum). Oh, and I'm told I'm "different". (Don't ask me, I don't know why.)

What a tough chick alright! Nice job, Paul. The red in the armor, though, blends with the background and makes it almost look like she might be invisible under that armor. That could be a neat trick to pull off. Also, you'll find that there's always something for everybody. What you might not feel is your best image can set off fireworks for someone else. That's why it's always good to post everything! ;o)

I like the concept, but I think the height of the fire and the level of quality take away from the image. I would have maybe done a ground fog instead. I also agree with Nathalie that the armor should be a different color to create more contrast with the background. Maybe a gold reflection map? Still it's a very interesting concept and a well assembled piece.

cool image - love the character, she looks like she belongs in legacy of kain. i agree that the fire could use some brightening - perhaps try working with eyecandy's flame filter - they had the original eyecandy for free at the alien skin website for awhile, in case you dont have it. cheers, -gabriel
