Description

Not sure when the shrimp season starts but these boats is dock ready to go out. Even the smaller ones I saw and photo which i planning on posting. These is the big ones that will go into the Gulf. I know the government reported the oil spell is OK now but I do not think they know or letting on. Yes it is better than they thought it be so they giving the high five but I saw it is rated a very low D that is very close to a F or failing. in other words from 1 to 100 it is I think a 65. Than not good and they say it will take years to really see how the oil have done to the Gulf of Mexico. Yes I will eat shrimp but I hear shrimp from other parts of the world is coming from very pollinated water too like some from human waste. i will not name counties for I not sure ; just heard about it. A shame we can not eat food the right way. of some people will not eat shrimp for it not as healthy as other fish. Who care I like to eat those Cajun ways of cooking shrimp . Look it up on the gumbo pages[just google gumbo pages] there a lot of recipes from New Orleans link is http://gumbopages.com/ Oh I may not have time to comment tonight as it is 10:50 PM now. I tried too. And I going to be in Denver on may 2; late but I be at my brother's place. I be meeting one person here on this site for sure and another maybe. So if you wish to get together let me know. I going to take it easy and time is no object for me right now to get back here to Louisiana.

Sterling POV and detail in this fine foto, Jock. I heard that the oil spill also really messed up the life on the ocean floor, and will take years for it to recover. So, sorry, no more shrimp for me.

Excellent POV and capture! :) If you can handle those Cajun spices, I don't think a little oil will hurt you. ;D lol!

Excellent capture! Beautiful color and light. I like crawfish best and from what I understand, they are mostly raised in the rice fields and should be okay. Have fun in Denver!
