Today, May 1st, is my granddaughter's 5th birthday. It is hard to believe that she is already a whole hand old. Happy birthday my Sweetheart! I have been very quiet the last couple of weeks but intend to be back soon. Hugs, Carin xx

This is gorgeous! She looks like she's up to something, which is always a good thing! This is an outstanding portrait and WOW! A whole hand...time does fly! Oh, I have to ask if she got perfume from N'york. I'm sure she did, but I've been wondering that lately so I really do have to ask! Also, I have to say that the detailing in this is marvelous, especially in the way things sort of "reverse" fade from pale in the background to textured and with rich color closer to the foreground. That's a perfect effect that heightens this shot wonderfully. What a gorgeous shot too! Yeah, it's a goodie!

Oh, she's darling! My time flies by. I can remember when my older sister had her first child and how excited we all were. Now that child is 27 and has children of her own. This is a wonderful portrait. Is she the one who wanted the "perfume from New York" ? Happy (belated) Birthday, Kayla!
