The Unwelcome Guest Are you real or a dream? In a nightmare world I can vanquish you Or will I be the vanquished? It followed me into this waking realm I dare not look At the monster holding me In a terrifying embrace. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful suggestions on my last image. I hope you find this one much improved. I got a little carried away with the scene, but making the lighting changes inspired me. The vampire is supposed to be hard to see, it's to make it seem that perhaps she is imagining him. There is no postwork on this except adding my name. wow! This is sensational! You've captured such a frightening mood and atmosphere... bone chilling absolutely! Makes you want to look over your shoulder at every given moment! I like what you've done here with the light and dark... casting the light on the "victim".... Those nails are really something... extremely wonderful image!

WOW! What an image. Ya know, I know a couple of Nosfarati, and one of them's a vegetarian: go figure! Anyway, I like this shot a lot and I love the mood of it. I can't really see the vampire figure potentially "not" being there, but I do get the very firm idea that he's wearing darkness itself, not hiding in it but actually manipulating it! I think it's in his expression and in the manner in which he's so well posed and rendered mysterious as a part of the darkness itself. I somehow get he's not one of the vegetarian vampires I'm a wee bit more familiar with, though you never know.
