Description

OK Dan, heres one of those wooden Buddhas you liked so much. I now take you back to Zhaoqing, the city where I live and teach English. This is a tea shop where they, honest to God, process tea, pack it in bulk bags for wholesale! Walking into the shop, the furniture is so close together it is difficult to get any pictures. In addition to nearly tripping over things, energy costs are so high here in China stores will seldom turn on their lights until after dark. So, many of my images from this place are a bit grainy. My 58mm detachable lens is so wide, it casts shadows when I use the flash. I took some shots without the lens, but for the most part, I could not get a good view without the wide angle lens. I hope you will enjoy this portion of this series. This is where the stone and wooden figures end up for retail sales. I am sorry I have been away all week, I've gone to some remote locations to look at more stone carvings. When I returned this morning, I had over 100 emails from Renderosity alone. So, if I missed your gallery, please forgive me.

wonderful photograph, I have a very close friend who has a (much) smaller version of this kind of statue. They're very important, and she treats it with a very high respect. That is an amazing sculpture, there.
