We're having a great time on our trip, but I DO miss the rain! Your image makes me smile. We have days at home when the sun is out and it also rains, but not very many. It's a joyful thing! I love this shot. Thank you, my friend!

It's so interesting, to learn about other countries and their folklore's and cultural traditions, in regards to mushroom growth ... but when I spot sun & rain together - I always search for the rainbow! your pic tells me that singing & dancing in the rain, like Gene Kelly, is not out of the question - fascinating image, Nikolay BB

A wonderful capture, dear Nikolay. We need rain here so badly, moor fires on the tops. Hope it rains soon. Hugs. Di. xx

This is gorgeous! I'm sure that we have similar names for this phenomenon in Chicago, but I don't know what it's called. I know that if it's sunny, but the sky in the direction opposite the sun is turbulent and storm-tinged, old folklore states that it's "the devil beating his wife," but that's as far as my meteorological expertise goes in terms of folk-descriptions. I love this photo and the wonderful definition of the individual raindrops. Super!
