Description
This one is for Andrea as you like black backgrounds.
The day I photographed all the Cacti and sundew shots it was nice and sunny and warm but very windy so I set up my studio ( two crates and some black cloth ) in the greenhouse, You can have any colour so long as its black, I tell a lie I have white, dark wine red and dark green, but I like black.
This Laburrnum was in flower in the garden but it was blowing around too much so out came my cutters and into the greenhouse it went, it was jammed into the trigger of a hand spray and hung in front of the dark background, hope you like the result.
P.S They remind me of Donald duck.

Beautiful color and contrast in this capture. I can see Donald Duck's bill in there. Dana

Really nice, I've been looking at Robert Mapplethorpe's flower work this week for a project I'm teaching and this reminds me a little of him.
