Description
We found this tucked away in the gardens near a rotating summer house at Lamport Hall in Northamptonshire UK, Its the oldest hawthorn I've ever seen.

Ans I even think the owner is taking good care of it, as there are no side twigs on the trunk. On my (in the summer) Humming tree, my hawthorn, these little side branches are coming out of the trunk all the time. Actually its time for us to cut them off :)
