Description

This shot is a little blurry but the other day when I was out by the river this Osprey was way off in the distance and I had my camera in full zoom when he took a real quick dive into the water I just pointed my camera and clicked. I didn't have time to try and get him in focus. when I looked at the picture I noticed that he had caught 2 fish at once, one in his beak and one in his left claw. so even though it is kind of blurry I think it is really cool. I hope you like it too Randy

When you consider the speed at which this guy must have been moving to stick not one, but two fish, the fact that you caught this shot this clearly is pretty damned amazing! I'm impressed! - Matt

how very cool and he definitly knows the catch...lol... reminds me of my parrots somehow, who stuff their stockpile under their tongue and if this isn't enough there is at least one claw to fill and even with claw and beak full they are able to climb...lol

I've never seen them catch with their beak, or take more than one fish. I think what you're seeing is the tip of his left wing. If I'm wrong, it would be a once-in-a-lifetime shot! But really, any shot of an Osprey with a catch is tough to get!
