Description
I have these beauties in the garden, thanks to Niger seed everyday. I seldon see them come to the birdbath, but he didn't have a splash about today. I shall have to wait for that privilege.

What a superb shot Kevin. I love these little birds and sometimes have up to twenty or more making their funny little whistling noise and queueing up for their niger seed feast. They can be quite nasty with each other. I had never seen them before moving up here. I watch them in the winter on the Teasel and Rudbeckia seed heads.

A wonderful capture of this tiny little bird. You have got amazingly close to him. I have these here in the winter too but can never get this close to them.
