Description

All 5 rhinoceros species (2 in Africa, 3 in Asia) are currently under intense renewed threat from poaching, primarily for medicinal use of the horn in Asian countries. My picture, which is rather poignant and somewhat surreal, aims to highlight the current tragic and critical status of rhino. The recent upsurge in demand for horn is based on spurious and unproven rumours that it can cure certain illnesses, but is probably only a ruse for organised criminals to reap gains from the demise of these amazing animals, as often fake horn is peddled to ignorant easterners. We must not let criminals extinguish these amazing animals. [Jar modelled by me in Hexagon; DAZ rhino, Regency table; Lable and string photoshopped in - am working on Hexagon models for these!]

one can only agree that this threat, and the death of a species by the hand of man, must be stopped. unfortunatley, a history of cultural brainwashing has given to raising generations of 'human psycopathy', towards nature and living things... to pervade in this generation as well. (how is that working for mankind?) how do we, as a world, re-educate a mass of humanity! to actually do what is in their own best interests?

Excellent work - lies are powerful, if I could have only one complaint about the world we live in, it is that it is not easy to know the truth and we usually only know what we wish to know anyway - and no one can tell us otherwise (already more than one huh). So many things we make a mess of.
