As runners, walkers brushed by me on the infamous Hayes Valley hill. I had to capture this gentleman enjoying his morning cup of Java(I think) while watching the thousands run past his home.

Intriguing shot and an interesting perch for viewing. Funny, I saw the cowboy hat and immediately thought he was drinking beer. Funny how assumptions work. This is incredibly well seen, and I wish Chicago provided scenes like this, but I think there's a city ordinance prohibiting the display of too much human behavior here, unless it bears the North Face stamp of approval.
