Description

Hi! It's been a while. Lately the days seem to pass by quicker than ever. I have been working on getting myself into better shape.. you know, trying to lower my cholesterol a bit and lose some weight. So, I fill my days with exercise and meal planning, or so it seems. I was lucky to get out a couple days this past week and take some photos. I had a good time and I may even have a couple photos to share. I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your spring. I sure am. The weather here has been unusual but pretty nice... even when it has rained. We've been lucky to enjoy some really beautiful days. I'll have to remember that when July/August rolls around with those triple digit temps!!! What an image. The raindrops on this make me think of nectar, and that's never a bad thing. The color is nicely intense as well. I just looked at your bedraggled flower and this is a nice compliment, and because my mind is always going off in odd directions, I'll just say that this also reminds me of a piece of candy, or maybe candied fruit? I think it's the color and the drops. Oh, and isn't getting back into shape fun. Meal planning can actually lead to some nicely pleasant culinary adventures, and you can discover things like those truly marvelous fruit salads that involve apples, pears and fresh dill; I could live off of those in summer.
