Description
Another after the rain photo from last week.
This poor little poppy at the end of it's season, caught my eye. It was like some debutante after being caught in a rainstorm. (My imagination, haha)

Its funny how I see a rather bedraggled woman in an extravagant dress. The color is amazing, and I have recently discovered that I really like orange flowers of any sort; I think because they always add something of a festive mood to a place. I think the dewdrops/raindrops are a nicely dreamy touch: perfectly caught. The details are really crisp and wonderfully captured. The color is deliciously warming as well. This is quite nice; I like it a lot. I like the background as well: it gives this whole shot a nicely minimalist (but not cold) feel.
