Bryce7Pro/DazStudio/Photoshop
First poster mock-up for an on-going project I am involved in that is now in the financing and pre-production phase,bringing the sci-fi novels of member Dante d'Anthony to the screen.This image is a mix of Daz elements,Bryce7Pro elements and photos from CGTextures,and since it involved more than just a Bryce render I posted to Mixed Medium.
Figure in foreground is Michael3 with my own character morphing,Marauder outfit(Bryce textures),Wedge2 hair and Uziite pistol.Other figure is Hiro to David3 with Andromeda6 outfit(again Bryce textures),Stratus skin mat,Renee Hair,Uzilite pistol and Dagon sword.Ground texture is a Seriously Real Material from Daz,as is the distant planet texture.Ships and hovertanks are my own Bryce models.Sky,light and atmo are custom.The sun was disabled,and all light in the scene is from five radial lights.Rendered in Superfine and took 20 hours.
Postwork in Photoshop involved a levels boost,signature and title.Also,various fire photos from CGTextures were applied in layers,as well as a blowtorch photo for the ship engine flares.Additional explosions on the background planet were added as a seperate layer,missiles composited over these,and a royalty-free photo of a city at night used as base for the city.A final noise layer and re-sizing completed the image.

Yes, definitely brings back the days of Sci-Fi/Fantasy pulp fiction mags. One of your best works. However, I have yet to find that royalty free photo of the city. Heh! Have to add this one to "muh favs."
