Description

...The Mary D. Hume languishes on the bottom here in the mouth of the Rogue River, Gold Beach, Oregon. ...She had a 97 year commercial sea-life and came to this very spot under her own power in 1979,...200 yards from where she was built in 1881. ...She was to be restored to her original glory by the County Historical Society until a lawsuit broke their bank over who had ownership... ...With no money to fix her...she's been left to rot. Nobody has the heart to bury her bones... Bill P.S. A little history of the Mary D. Hume for anyone interested:) "What You See is What You Get" thumb_2204061.jpg

Believe it or not, she's still salavagable, but perhaps it's just better to let her rust away near wher she was born. It's amazing what we discard.
