Description
I painted this picture using Photoshop CS4 and wacom intuos3.
This one has taken me about a week on an off, and I added a lot of detail. I tried again to create realism here, as regards the Cheetah and objects within the picture.I hope you like it.
I wanted to give it a hot feel, and I tried to include in this pic naturals that can be found in Africa, and the butterfly which is called ' Aphnaeus orcas' is rather unusual as it has false antennae tails. A really clever nature trick, because a bird that would anticipate the direction it would fly away is often fooled. When settled they are apparently surprisingly difficult to spot, as the pattern which is so striking when seen closely is also very effective at breaking up the shape of the butterfly - a type of camouflage known as disruptive colouration, I found out in my research for this picture. Did you find them yet, there are two? lol

Oh Jane!! This is stunning, you've achieved everything you've set out to do here, the heat fairly beams out of my monitor from this spectacularly beautiful work, the colors are just perfect, the background is marvelously detailed and I spotted the first butterfly immediately, the second I had to look for but found it. This is so beautifully created, your painting is already perfection, yet it seems to become more perfect with each work you post! The Cheetah is amazing .. and yes, you've made this a very realistic and gorgeous work.
