Description

I painted this picture using Photoshop CS4 and wacom intuos3. This one has taken me about a week on an off, and I added a lot of detail. I tried again to create realism here, as regards the Cheetah and objects within the picture.I hope you like it. I wanted to give it a hot feel, and I tried to include in this pic naturals that can be found in Africa, and the butterfly which is called ' Aphnaeus orcas' is rather unusual as it has false antennae tails. A really clever nature trick, because a bird that would anticipate the direction it would fly away is often fooled. When settled they are apparently surprisingly difficult to spot, as the pattern which is so striking when seen closely is also very effective at breaking up the shape of the butterfly - a type of camouflage known as disruptive colouration, I found out in my research for this picture. Did you find them yet, there are two? lol Please respect my copyright, thanks :o) ©2010 JaneEden Many thanks for sparing some time to check out my gallery, for the kind comments, and for the faves of my previous uploads, I appreciate this so much my dear Rendo friends, hugs Jane xx *Zoom* for detail if you like - thanks :o)

I always love your work so how can I express how much I love this one. Marvelous detail and light. I love the bright light in his eyes and the warm colors of his fur. Lovely background. I like the way it's shaded to the outside. Absolutely beautiful! I found the butterflies. :)
