Captured 4/12/11, very early in the morning, at a park within walking distance of my harrowing haven.
Worth a ZOOM.
If nothing else, I know that isn't a rose.

Beautiful image! Wonderful composition, textures, colors, and light. I like the regularity and linear nature of the pavement as a backdrop for the flowing lines of the flower, and the brilliant red against the gray. Lovely shadows on the pavement and on the petals. Excellent detail of the petals. Very nice!
