Description
Captured 7/31/10, at the American Civil War Reenactment, held at the vast and beautiful El Dorado Park in beautiful Long Beach, California.
Much better viewed in ZOOM mode.
Sorry to say it, but this just about ends the lengthy series on the battle itself. I have other fotos displaying the aftermath, such as the wounded being attended to, more bodies littering the battlefield, and troops either regrouping, assessing the chaos, marching, or just riding or wandering about, etc.
For those interested, I must have taken over 500 fotos of this Civil War event, so there are many more pics to come that do not include the battle aspect itself.

The bottom shot especially makes me feel the desolation of a battlefield after the fact, with bodies strewn about and an officer looking at the damages; nicely captured, it's hard to remember that it's a reenactment and not the real thing. Excellent collage as always, well done, Harry!

It's surprising just how many pictures you take at events like this.. At Legends Airshow I always come home wit 700 plus.. So, I understand Harry! Very fine work on the series and great work on these as well! Rob
