Description
The universe today is a little less bright...our little Star's lost her light.
This afternoon, at about 2:40 PM we had to extend to our sweet Star the greatest kindness anyone who has ever loved a pet can give. We gave her leave to pass into the Summer Lands and cross the Rainbow Bridge.
She'd not been well for some time, and this was the most merciful thing we could do to ease her suffering.
R.I.P my sweet little Starling. Give those seagulls hell.

She was such an adorable dog Stacey, and she had the most beautiful eyes. I'm so sorry for your loss, and know it is like losing a member of the family. Keeping you in my prayers, hugs

Starling will forever be the sweetest dog ever, and I was glad to spend what time I could with her these last years, especially here at the end. All my love and deepest sympathy, now and always.

I am so sorry about your loss...I know how difficult it is to make that final decision, but it really is the best and kindest thing you can do for this special friend; I am sure she looks down at you with those beautiful brown eyes and says "thank you," Mom.

she be in your mind all ways. i remember my first dog still and my first cat. time will heal your heats and a new dog will come along to full the empty feeling that is left by this dog

So sorry to hear of your loss Stacey, I know it is such a hard decision to make but it is a fact that we can show our pets more mercey than we can an ailing parent or sibling. I know that you would have done the best for Star and you done well.

Starling is waiting for you in the happy hunting ground. Starling is watching over you to still protect you if you listen to her messages with the feelling from our heart. i know how hard it is to release a loved one that is a member of the family.

Oh Stacey, I'm SO sorry .. it's just heartbreaking to watch them get sick .. and sicker .. and knowing this day will come. No matter how much you think you're ready, you never really are. They take such a chunk of your heart with them when they go to the Summerlands .. but they leave a big part of their heart in trade. Sigh. God Speed Dear Starling.
