I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

vitachick

WOW....This is really fantastic Rod, amazing capture!

That's awesome...and creepy.Never rule out a UFO.It's hard to believe that earth has the only indigenous life in this entire universe. But then again,i've had a few beers,so i'll believe anything right now...even pink elephants. Great capture Rod...I like shots of the unknown!!!
debbielove
Well mate! Unlike what most people HOPE or would like it to be its more likely a planet like Jupiter or something! I don't know AND it would be cool if it was a UFO BUT we all know.... ;-) They are all parked at Roswell! lol Good one Rod.. Rob

I'd call Mulder. It could be a plane blurred by motion. An object moving plus if your hand rolls just the slightest could make a long object appear round, and that's from my own experience. It does look rather odd, though, and like you said it seems to have shadow and lighting on it and is below the clouds. Hmmmm. Definitely call Mulder and Scully.

Amazing what the camera picks up isn't it. It is a superb capture of the clouds and the UFO is just an added bonus.

Great photo, really piques one's curiosity. Clearly an UFO, as the very phrase means something in the air that one can't identify. My dad, a cop, the least likely guy anyone could think of to see such things, saw one late at night off a country road. Wouldn't talk about it much, but it clearly affected him deeply. Odds are this and that were something entirely "normal" seen in abnormal circumstances, but you never really know, do you?

If that was up here in Canada I'd say it was a snowball thrown by someone with a damn good arm. A person is very lucky to ever see something that appears to defy a logical explanation; I think you were lucky that day!

may be a space stuff we sent up to sent back information like TV wonderful shot

Odd...it looks almost lunar. I think in scientific circles, that would be classified as a thing. And being of a scientific mindset myself, I must agree. It is most definitely a thing, quite possibly an object, though further testing might be required in order to determine that. At any rate, I like it; I like the mystery and the flights of fancy it can inspire. Those clouds are amazing. The whole image is just so well captured.

Rod, it is 12:15 am as I write this...I am trying to think of something smart-a to say but my mind has been dulled by the need for sleep, or a glass of wine, or a refreshing Vodka beverage. So, let me simply say WTF! Great sky my friend:)
boobunny
Very interesting. But one beautiful sky.

Great sky Rod I think its a whim-wham to wind the sun up. ;-) Tis amazing what one captures unawares.. Have a great day bud..

Beautiful capture!
renecyberdoc
this is supposed to be one of our secret spackoine crafts i think the shield was not mounted at the time of the shot.i will have an "entrevue"with the pilot, maybe even sack him for this mistake.
UteBigSmile
Beautiful picture Rod. I had it in fullsizs view, the only thing that I can see, is that there are 2 UFO's (or maybe giant ORBS, which you can normally see only during the night) flying in the clouds.
adrie
I dont know what it is, but i think maybe it is a another planet lol. It's indeed very odd, great capture my friend.
mrestey
It is too large or too close to be any planet in our solar system. Doesn't appear to be a solar flare. It most resembles the moon. I notice from your inset image that it appears to be partially blocked out on the bottom by the darkest cloud but it shows through the thinner cloud at the top. I believe it is the moon, but who knows. There seems to be more and more daytime occurrences of UFOs down that direction. Even large crowds have seen UFOs hovering in the skies over Mexico and the have video to prove it. Fascinating shot Rod.
Froggy
I think it's just water vapour condensing to a peculair shape and being lit by the sun. If I allow myself to think anything else then I might start worrying - LOL Intertesting to see something ... well ... interesting like this Rod - COOL
twingo
Maybe they are really out there........ But sometimes things are not what they appear to be, I agree with mrestey, it could be the moon. Interesting photo non the less.
MagikUnicorn
Unique shot...and maybe a small ice cloud...I saw something on TV about this, before tornadoes...of after...not sure
skiwillgee
Air Force claims it is swamp gas... just kidding. A mystery for sure.
NefariousDrO
Looks to me like you got the moon shining through the clouds, if you ask me. That's super cool!
auntietk
I'm more worried about telephone poles in the water! LOL! :P You're right ... this makes a great cloud background. Just clone that little blip out of there, and it will work great! :D
