You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia,  if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess  I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !**                                              that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

Oh BB-schen, what is it that you offer us? Your Sunday dinner? A fish gasping for breath. That is parched by sun too long, nearly consumed by the salt water. An alien landed on the beach, no I do not eat! A little too dangerous. ;D Stunning post-work, my dear Sis! Hugs to down under ;-)

I know all about him, and he's not an alien. He's a native of down under. Not down under Australia, but DOWN under. And the blue, is not blood. Their blood is a bright orange. It's um, a different bodily fluid. You must have scared him when you walked up. Now he's pretending to be a piece of driftwood until you leave and then he will scurry down that hole to his right. They live under all the continents but are rarely seen much less captured. Their discoverer Percy P. Filkleswart, called them Undergrounders. He wasn't much for naming things which considering his own name is understandable. He'll be thrilled to see this as his claims of their existence have been met with some skepticism. You can contact him at Sunnydale Home of Understanding in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a marvelous image! I love the postwork! The combination of bright colors, dark shading, and sandy background is wonderful. Excellent detail and colors. Very cool post!
