Description

I do not know if these people live and fight for our country or help make things for the arm forces but they die and as you see the wind mills in the back ground working with free wind. They may even protested against the wars. But war is part of life. sorry to say. I like to thank all who lived and die to make our lives the way it is today. It not the best and in some parts of the world it needs a lot of improvement. Like Somalia still got slaves going on and it the Muslims who is putting people into slavery. What really get me is people yelling about slavery of the past in our country and no one saying about what going on today. Thought slavery was outlaw in the 1800's world wide. Sorry to get off like this but that is what today is about in the USA freedom of speech and the thankful hearts of the people who made it so in the past. this was taken in New Mexico and the grave yard is on 206 at Pleasant Valley I thank it on 206. it the road running parallel to the Texas panhandle. as I was going south

the modern slavery might even be worse, because its of a different persistent poisenous type. and there are way more ways for enslavery then with chains. in the old times you where at least able to see lord and slave.now they go to thier wall street offices and keep you a slave of them.you have to kiss ass to make a living .i am glad i am out of the loop. if i would have to start working today i would wether land up in a psycho asylum or in jail for shooting a dumb sob.

Beautiful image! Great composition. I like the position of the modern windmills behind the graves. As has been said in previous comments, there are many kinds of slavery. Through most of the history of Europe, and much of America's history too, a woman was the property of her father, until she belonged to her husband, and would hopefully be taken care of by her son. Heaven help her if her male relatives abused her or died before her. This is unfortunately still true in many parts of the world. I agree about freedom of speech. The slavery of speech is one of the most important ways that other freedoms are denied.

This is an amazing shot! It is very stark and bleak, but it is not uncomfortable to look at. I also think the windmills in the background really add a wonderful surprise to the image. This is excellent and it's a perfect tribute also!
