I am a keen animal lover so most of my art does include animals. I was always to be found sketching or painting animals from a very young age, and so after work then marriage, and raising 3 children, then breeding and showing dogs in the UK and Europe plus my animal photography, I got back into art again but this time digitally.
Digital art for me began with photography, my son Steve Pinchbeck (predatron) loved it and introduced me to Renderosity, and in fact joined me16years ago (now2020). Gradually I moved into mixed medium, and photo-manipulation and eventually digital fine-art. I use Adobe PS CS4 extended, and hand paint using Wacom Intuos Pro tablet & pen.
I love realistic art and strive to achieve this when painting, because of this I use photos of animals when I paint, for reference. Many of my own photos are of cats and especially of dogs. I often visited zoos too for the wild animal photography, but also have a few cat and dog breeder friends who allow me to photograph their treasured animals. Many thanks to some friends also who are amazing photographers who allow me to use their wonderful photos of wild animals for reference.
My art features in many household items and also artworks in my Redbubble store. https://www.redbubble.com/people/JaneEden/shop?asc=u
I do love it here and have made friends with some wonderful people and amazing artists.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my gallery or my Renderosity store, I do so appreciate it.
I would like to thank everyone who has purchased products from me, I hope you are enjoying creating some wonderful art with them.
Best of wishes to everyone ! :D xx

Ha ha! And so began the legacy of many a young lady being pestered by a slimy, talking frog begging them for a kiss! Though it would be interesting to see what impact on this old fable the two former witche's cats would have... Great image and tale!

Wow, incredible job of painting here. I love the oh so sad look of the kitties as they cannot believe what is happening. Textures on the witch are awesome, particularly her face and cap. Really awesome landscape. Fine job of painting, you have come so far.

Sis, this was one of the most fantastic works of art I've seen in some time. You are so creative, and the way you come up with these fascinating stories and then create beautiful images to go along is heart warming. You just almost feel the excitement in this scene as the Prince is transformed into the frog while his new friends look on in horror. (The one kitty on the right actually looks like he may cry) Thanks so much for sharing with us how it all began and for adding a bright spot to my day. Hugs

Delightful, Jane (as is any of your work with cats in it!).... Interesting you said "how dare he talk to HER cats...." Perhaps meaning Artemis, the Potnia Theron or Mistress of Animals??? Eleusinian Mysteries!

Jane this is truly an exceptional piece of art. The zoom shows so much beautiful detail. Your story line is wonderful as well. I have no idea how you paint such beautiful images, but I am in awe of your skills.
