Description
"Find the cost of freedom buried in the ground", CSNY. I did this last week for Memorial Day. This is a re-creation of a pic I took in 1988 at Rosecrans Natl Cemetary on Point Loma, San Diego. While there, I noticed some of the headstones had the engraving painted black. After closer inspection, I found all these were Congressional Medal of Honor winners. I looked up and saw the flag and took the shot. The B&W pic took a 3rd place at the county fair the same year. If you know or see a service member, please thank them for thier service, and remember, freedom isn't free.

All the relief we feel when our Friends and Family return is tempered by those who did not. All gave some, some gave all! Exceptionally Well Done!!!
