Such muscle for a harpist seems rather wasted! He has to be a Russian. This is a wonderful composition.

'Lieben Sie Brahms?' or 'Aimez-Vous Brahms' - was one of my first books I read in English, by Francoise Sagan, so how can I forget ? this brings back memories - thanks Nikolay, a very dramatic presentation ! BB

I had to laugh at Andrea's comment as it matches one of my own observations: "They grow 'em big in Russia," This is such an elegant (and rather muscle-endowed) sculpture that fits an overt human ideal while at the same time maintaining a particular grace belonging to a less muscled human ideal. Great choice with the black and white; it brings out the lines and the curves so much and gives the mind room to wander around in. I have to say, too, for a statue, he's kinda sexy, in that sexy-statue-sort-of-way. Marvelous work.
