Let’s test the theory and then put it into practice.
Following directly on from yesterday and my continuing ABIS story.
Turning his attention away from Johnson for the first time Carter addressed the remainder of the people within the conference room. “OK people we have what looks like a definite possible working solution to the problem now let’s turn it into a definite solution to the problem”. “I want all Divisions to co-ordinate their efforts to get a Hercules and a new ML Test Article onto the launch pad as soon as possible”. “The Test Article people are to work in conjunction with Matt Johnson’s group from the PAM Division who have been working on this problem so that the PAM’s are fitted exactly where they need to go to do the most good”. “Matt I know your people have been working this problem for the past few months but I would like both the Hercules team and the ML Test Article team to both take what you have put together and check the details with a fine tooth comb for any miscalculation which may have been made”. Looking at the clock Carter noted the time and decided that whilst this day may have started out on a downer it now had all the promise of finishing it with something very positive being achieved.

For all of you have managed to stay the five day course this narrative has taken I thank you and hope you have not been too bored or disappointed. I felt this narrative was necessary for the story to move onward at the correct descriptive pace. Next week sees the start of the next phase of ABIS and Robert Carter’s efforts to put America Back Into Space after the end of the space shuttle programme in 2011.
